Resilient Leadership Workshop

Join us for a dynamic and interactive workshop that will provide evidence-based research, tools, insights and discussion. It will shed light on resiliency skills that can be helpful for all of us, as we fulfill our roles in the defence and security community and at home.

This valuable session is designed to help you:

  • Examine how wellbeing and resilience are critical for leadership success and a vital part to thriving in times of rapid change.

  • Understand and develop the skill of wellbeing within yourself so you and your teams can improve health and happiness.

  • Take positive action.

The WiDS team selected Resilient Leadership as our professional development topic to support the upcoming WiDS 2019 Memorial Scholarship Breakfast. This year, WiDS with the support of our stakeholders, will award WiDS’ memorial scholarship in honour of a group of women in defence and security who lost their lives to suicide.

Stay for the Fall Reception

The workshop will roll into a reception. Registration for the workshop includes the reception. No separate registration or payment is required.

This networking event will help you create connections and provide further opportunity to discuss resilience and other business with our special international guests. WiDS is honoured to host seven senior, international military officers currently traveling Canada as the 2018 Halifax Peace with Women Fellows.
